Loving this so far. Just having a little trouble with section-based levels (need to make the chorus shine a bit more) and kick levels throughout.

lmao, well… i really dont like instrumental songs, since im a singer myself… I cant say i enjoy it as well, plus the snare top mic sounds like a can of ketchup beign hit with a drumstick… Why these kids dont buy a ludwig supraphonic and use the remo powerstroke? Like… Seriously… What´s wrong with these drummers? These kids are not bad, but they´re trendy AF…

that bass itself sounds pretty good with just the onboard preamp, i smell a Darkglass b7K on the signal chain as well

Hey guys, I m a new being here and I am very excited to have this session. However is there any detail rules for the mix submit like do I suppose to do the mastering for my mix or not?
Try to keep the mix competitive as most will make it as loud as a mastered track 🙂 we do not discourage users from mastering their own music.

Lesson learned today: While finishing up the mix, tried bouncing to check on other sources, my DAW for some reason decided to crash, AND did not auto-save anything from the last 5-6 hours. Remember to constant;y save your projects MANUALLY every few minutes. GOOD LUCK to everyone that entered the mixing contest, see you next month.
