Well, this song is more challenging than emmures sampled drums. On this song I think I got my snare and kick good but it took the last 3 days to get them where I wanted.

i think you can access the site without being a member, just make sure you’re logged in and then you should be able to see all your purchased months.

Not sure if this is correct or not, but the guitar tracks seem to be already panned and consolidated as stereo stems.. Is that right or should they be mono wavs?

Hey guys, Don’t download these tracks yet! I done fucked up and made everything stereo, must of been tired that day.
Well, just purchased an hour ago a membership, but can’t seem to download the stuff. I tried relogging, I made sure I was logged in as a member (check my status as active) and still it asks for the 9$ first month membership. The tempo of the tracks ist not 225 but slower
When I compared it to the original I also realised the pitch is not correct but it it too low…
any ideas?
You probably imported it at the wrong sample rate

Oh man! I didn’t realize the song was I, The Creator. The first time I ever heard of John Browne, or Monuments for that matter, was on one of those EMG playthrough videos on YouTube featuring this song. I was immediately a fan of John and the band from that moment on. What a delight!

Hey this is probably a noob question, but is it up to me to align the timing of all the tracks? Usually they’re synced and I can practice mixing. Is this part the mix?
Just read the rtf file that came with it. All explained there.
Love this track and band. What are you guys thoughts with the timing /quantizing. I am fixing up the bass it just feels a bit sloppy but i always do the bass anyway. But now the guitar also could be a bit tighter.
The whole album has that loose/organic feel to it. Like, a lot of it grooves around and quantizing may take some of that out. But I’ll be interested to see what people do with it.
I can’t access the lesson even though I’ve purchased it. It still suggests me to purchase it. There is no other problem with any other lesson that I’ve purchased, just this, for some reason. I’m getting to 556 mb then it becomes a stand still, if I pause and try to resume like I’ve done in the past it tells me that I don’t have permission to download the file. I’ve tried logging out and back in.

It sounds like you are getting a timeout issue from the Amazon S3 servers, I suggest trying a different browser or trying to download the files during a very early or late time of the day for the fastest results. How does this work, is it possible to resubmit the mix? I noticed there where some things that could have been better in my mix, toms etc. Can i retake the mix or is it done when you have uploaded your file?

If you are notified that you are in the top 20 or secondary poll you are not given the number you are. We ask that if you do find out that you keep it to yourself. We do this so there is no bias if a particular person makes it.

Link in the email is 100% right. All it does is take you to a login screen. Click where it says “watch the mix” if you want to watch the mix.

Nvm…i figured it out…just had to click the watch the mix button…should be live in 45mins… but if i miss it… will i be able to watch it later… i have work…amd seeing how its actually mixed is my most wanted lesson.
I just joined NTM about a week ago. I was told i was able to watch the full live mix after it was live. I am only able to rewind for the last 2 hours. Any suggestions?
Just wait a few hours. It takes about a day or two to process the video after the event.
