If you don’t have access, but are supposed to have access here’s some things you can do:
1 – Log out, log back in
2 – Clear your cache
3 – Email [email protected]
4 – If you were a member before April 2017 go to the old NTM site and download there

Hey guys. Great track and really looking forward to digging in. (This might be a stupid question…) Do we get to know the BPM? Or is part of being an awesome mix engineer working it out for ourselves? I prefer working synced so that delays and cuts are in time/beat. T’would save me a bit of time. Many thanks.
There’s a track in there called “Architects Tempo Map.” It’s a midi map. Use it.
I’ve tried numerous times to drag it into the project… I get a Marker track, a SysEx data track and a MIDI track, but it doesn’t change my tempo from default, nor do I get a time signature track…. I don’t know what I am doing wrong at this point :/
Maybe your DAW does not support this function. I have Cubase Artist 9 and this feature is missing, I should upgrade it to the Pro version.
I have only Elements 9 (lowest end version 😉 and it works fine in this regards. Its just a setup thing.

For mix submissions should I provide a “mastering ready” mix or do you prefer I bring the level up before rendering? Thanks.
It’s totally up to you, but I highly suggest that you make it at a similar level to the other mixes which is in the “mastered” range.

This has been a lot of fun so far. I’d recommend everyone soloing the ambient guitars and FX tracks after you’re done mixing them. Listen to the whole song that way. It’s absolutely beautiful!

Hey guys, im new her so I have a total noob question. Are we supposed to mix this to sound exactly like Henrik’s by following exactly what was done in the video or are we to use our own methods and try to achieve a great sound even if it sounds different?

Just mix it. Do your best to make it sound great. Don’t drive yourself crazy trying to imitate someone else’s mix.
Super noob here. And super excited! I’ve learned so much from just having professional material, and I can’t wait for the months to come! I have one problem though, and I’m not sure where to ask. I have an old i3 laptop that I recently started mixing on (Abelton 9), and it will not play all 75 of the “Gone With The Wind” audio tracks at once. A CPU overload occurs and no sound plays. What laptop should I pursue, with enough “power”?
I would get something with an i7 and 16gb ram.

I submitted, and then found some mistakes on it. not knowing any better, I resubmitted on a difffernt email. I was told by a rocktogon peer I should have replied my original email, and that I should have gotten an email telling me my submission was accepted… I checked my mail (and junk), and have nothing to confirm… being under the impression it hasn’t been received, do I resubmit?…. I think I have a pretty good mix and I don’t want to disqualify myself….
oh yeah, does it matter if the address I used doesn’t match my login?…. I accidentally used my work email to submit

My mix poll submission was accepted, but it seems to me my mix isn’t there… Is there anything wrong or is this just something done on purpose not to let people vote their own mixes?
We randomize the mixes and don’t tell people their numbers on purpose so that they don’t vote for their own mixes.
I can’t even find my own submission in the poll.. Even though I got the confirmation e-mail that it was accepted. Is there a way to see which number I have if I have any at all?
Just because your mix was accepted doesn’t mean it made it into the final polls. Over 600 mixes were submitted, we pick what we think are the top 50 for the final polls. You would get an email telling you if you made it in.
What is the live mix link?
Having a weird problem with the live mix link in that it shows the full length of the video as 5hrs47mins, but will only start playing from 4hrs11mins (like when I drag the play point back to the earliest I can in the video it starts playing from 4hrs 11mns, can’t watch anything earlier than that). Tried chrome/firefox and my phone, all does the same. Anyone else have this?
Nevermind this, got it, cache cleanage for the win.
Cache cleaning always helps. Also, on the day of the event it takes a few hours for the video to be fully processed once we finish filming it.
are you uploading the video mix again? there is a lot of dropouts from the stream at the end lots of stuff does not have sense. would be great.

I noticed that it glitches a lot at the end of the mix, which is sad because i was really looking forward to see in detail what he did to the masterbus.

Whats up with the end of the mixing vid? At 5:37:00 it starts skipping pieces.
We got hit by a major storm during the broadcast that messed up the internet at the end. We will re-upload it in a day or two and it will be fixed.

The link on this page still refers me to the “old” upload. I would love to see what is going on there as i have the feeling some sweet final touches are being made there 😉

You don’t find out your submission number because it’s all randomized. All you find out is if you placed in one of the polls and if you won.
