Am I able to post a video of the tracks on Instagram?
no
What if the video was recorded on a phone and it was only the vocals? If not thank you for the response. Really digging this session, I really wish the real version of the released song didn’t sound so distorted.
cmon man, we have these rules for a reason.
Sorry man, Im just trying to ask a question idk why you have to have an attitude about it? I get there are rules and everything but I did just pay way more for this one session then I could for just buying the album so am I even allowed to do anything with this? So I mean… cmon man don’t be an dick? I would expect little more “Common Courtesy” (no pun intended) From the guy whole runs this thing. Thanks
I’m not being a dick, these are the rules based on the deals we make with the bands and the labels. They allow us to provide you guys with this service, they don’t allow for you guys to post this stuff anywhere. We need to respect that.
Thank you, that is all I was really looking for. I am sorry about calling you a dick I know that was out of line, but I did not like the response I was giving previously. I just wanted to know what I can and can not do with these sessions. I have read the rules that you have stated and there was nothing in there that stated I can or can not do that other then distribution or promotion. neither is what I was trying to do other then just saying “Hey look at these cool vocal tracks I found!” haha. I know these are awesome sessions that are hard to come by that is why I wanted to know. I really appreciate the response!
What are the chances of getting the individual wav tracks with all of the adjustments (reverb, eq, compression, et al) already on them now that the contest is over?
Hello Adam,
Can you please elaborate? Do you mean the processed stems from the end of the event?
I believe so, yes; the processed stems that Wade ended up with after he finished the tutorial mix. I’d love to take his individual tracks and compare them to mine, and see what adjusting mine compared to his gets me. (My apologies for not knowing the vernacular; I’m a newbie to all this.)
Hello, friends! Any update on this request? Thank you
Hello Adam,
Sorry for the late reply – we do not give out the processed stems of the NTM event, but in the future if you would like please write out why you think it should be something and please e-mail it to [email protected] – I will pass your request along.
Is there a reason a reason you don’t export a tempo track file for these sessions? I am having trouble lining all these tracks up with the project in cubase trying to find the tempo and where it changes and it’s really frustrating. Shouldn’t there be a tempo track with all the tempo changes lined up where all the tracks are supposed to start and what now? thanks.
Great song and great info!
